Solstice24 is a brand new 24 hour run from the Equinox24 team.
Based in the fabulous grounds of Belvoir castle in Leicestershire, Solstice24 is a weekend festival of running and will quickly become one of your favourite and must-do events. The run course is different to that of Equinox24, with more woodland trails and completely new views and terrain to enjoy, meaning that while both events share the same iconic venue and fantastic atmosphere and organisation, they each bring a different and exciting running challenge.
 
You can chose to run solo or in a relay team of 2-8 people around the beautiful course through the grounds of this stunning castle estate. Your entry fee not only includes up to 24 hours of beautiful running on a well signed and marshalled route, it also includes free camping for all runners, showers, toilets and a great event village with food and drink vendors and trade stalls. After 6 years of organising the very successful Equinox24 event, this event is sure to follow in it’s footsteps to become a leading event on the Ultra and team running scene.
 
Running in an event like Solstice24 is more than just running. You become part of something bigger, spending time with like-minded people sharing a common goal brings a real sense of community, making new friends, supporting and encouraging  each other, having a laugh and pushing your physical limits – there’s nothing better.
We help create this atmosphere with a great run course, fantastic organisation, excellent marshals, the best hand picked food and drink vendors, great on site facilities, an online community, entertainment during the event for adults and kids and through a genuine passion for creating the very best experience for you as we can. We want you to go home thinking that was the best weekend you’ve had all year!
