The Hook Fun Run and Road Races are back for another year! This year will see a brand new course across the 10k and 10 mile races through the Hampshire countryside, in addition to a new Fun Run route around the village of Hook.
The start and finish for all races will be in Hartletts Park in the heart of Hook, meaning that, once again, we can use the fantastic facilities at Hook Community Centre.
Start time for the first race will be 10:00am.
- All finishers will receive a medal. It is our goal to be as sustainable as possible, with the smallest environmental footprint.
- There will be toilets, food stands, refreshments and a baggage hall.
- Chip timing will be used.
- There will be water stations along the courses and one at the finish line.
- Minimum age for entry is 15 years for the 10k and 17 years for the 10 mile, while the Fun Run is open to all runners aged 5 years and over.
- There will be two starting waves for the Fun Run, separated by two different coloured running bibs and split according to estimated finishing time.
- Toddler races will take place at 09:30am on the field.
- Family entertainment and other children's activities will be available.
More information about the event and courses is available at www.hookfunrun.com
