2021 Cardiff 5K - Race For Victory

Welcome to the home of the annual CARDIFF 5K - Race For Victory 

We are delighted to again bring this event to Whitchurch Village, a leafy suburb of Cardiff.

A unique once a year closed road route with a fast flat course, perfect for a personal best, along with what Whitchurch Village always supplies, a fantastic atmoshere !!

The 2021 race will incorporate the Welsh 5K Road Running Championships, and a National Inter Area Match, which will be timed and official results posted.

Participants will be able to Race, Run, Jog or Walk this 5K closed road route and either take part to raise funds for their chosen Charity OR just for the Fun .....the choice is yours 

If you would like to run for a charity and raise sponsorship, we recommend supporting Kidney Wales

For almost 50 years, Kidney Wales has been at the forefront of kidney patient care, well bring and research here in Wales.

All Runners get the unique  "Limited Edition Names - Cardiff 5K - Race For Victory" Technical T-Shirt which features the names of all those who take part.

(WE DO NOT GIVE A FINISHERS MEDAL)

VERY IMPORTANT

RACE START TIME 19:00 HRS

CLUB RUNNERS - IF YOU ARE COMPETING IN THE WELSH ROAD RUNNING CHAMPIONSHIPS YOU MUST WEAR YOUR CLUB VESTS.

INTER AREA RUNNERS - IF YOU ARE COMPETING IN THE INTER AREA CHAMPIONSHIP YOU CAN WEAR YOUR NATIONAL / TEAM VESTS.

ALL OTHER RUNNERS - "IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU COULD WEAR THE RACE T-SHIRT TO START THE EVENT, ALTHOUGH THIS IS NOT A REQUIREMENT"

The events is a Race under the rules and regulations of Welsh Athletics, so will be timed and official results will be posted.

AGE LIMITS - Competitors must be 11 years old or over to run the Cardiff 5K.

The race will be fully marshalled, and the course is marked to national standards.

All registration fees are final and non - refundable.

However, we will allow participants to transfer their entry to another person until Friday 2nd April 2021 (After this time it will NOT be possible so please don't ask)
