Pareto FM Shrewsbury Half Marathon - starts at 8:30am

New route for 2023! 

Starting and finishing at The West Mid Showground, taking in all of Shrewsbury best bits including the Welsh & English Bridge, Kingsland, Porthill, Coleham, The Quarry, Frankwell and the beautiful town centre passing medieval buildings and quirky street names.

Pareto FM Shrewsbury Metric Half Marathon 8.1 miles Road Race - starts at 8:55am

New route for 2023! 

Completed a 10k but not ready to jump to the half marathon distance? Want a shorter faster race target?

The Metric Half Marathon returns for 2023. We will start and finish the the 8.1 mile / 13.1km course at The West Mid Showground.

The new route takes in Shrewsbury’s best bits, hugging the River Severn and includes crossing both the English & Welsh Bridges, The Quarry, Kingsland and Frankwell. You can see the new route on Map My Run here or a PDF version here.
