Fair City Perth Half Marathon

The Fair City Perth Half Marathon is set in a beautiful area of Scotland. The run starts from the beautiful South Inch Park in Perth and from here you will follow the River Tay through North Inch Park and then wind your way back to the heart of the city. You will pass many landmarks, which hopefully you will have time to visit during your trip to Perth. Once through the city of Perth you will work your way through the streets of the surrounding area eventually arriving back at South Inch Park. You will then enter South Inch Park and eventually finish (we hope) back where you started. Local residents will be encouraged to give support along the route, and there will also be various types of local entertainment lining the route.

Perth City is easily accessible and even better has free parking on a Sunday. Once you have signed up for the event, you will receive information on parking, routes to the city and also regular updates of the discounts available to you, as an entrant to this event, at various stores and eateries within the City. The City and surrounding areas are packed with Hotels and B&B's so finding accommodation should not be a problem if you intend to spend a few days in the area.

South Inch Park is a beautiful area of the City and there is plenty of space for you to warm up before the run and chill out after the run. On the park there will be various stalls and entertainment to keep your friends and relatives entertained while your slogging away ! There will also be a celebrity to set you off on your run.

This event is being planned to take place every year and with the great support from you, and also from Perth & Kinross Council, it will become a landmark event.
